A quote sandwich. Feast on the filling.
"In the last week, I've uprooted myself from my home of fifteen years, moved all the way across the country away from everything I care about, and plunged myself into a frightening new career! The first few nerve-racking moments, I walk in here and find my producer lobbying to get herself transferred to another show! Abe Lincoln had a brighter future when he picked up his tickets at the box office!"
Clever people start their blogs with quotes. Look ^. Magic. You think I'm cleverer now. It's customary now to detail what this blog is about....
This blog is about Frasier.
Well, a little bit about Frasier, but far, far, far more about my self-indulgent, credit crunch evading, swine flu bothering journey across America.
I disappear 23 June, and return on 11 September. I drive from Seattle to Boston, and then fly out from NYC. Pretty much the Reverse Frasier (moving from Boston to Seattle between Cheers and his eponymous show). I'm sure he used to visit New York too.
The Emerald City to Beantown to the Big Apple. Hopefully this won't happen while I'm out there. 35mph wave of molasses. NO THANKS.
For those of a mathmatical bent, here's some boring stats to ponder:
3 countries (maaaaaybe)
Departure in 5 weeks, 6 days.
Steel yourselves, readers. It's going to be a wild ride.
